Come on down to the Bristol green for Music Mondays, with food trucks and live music -- I'll be rocking and rolling and pitching and yawing and floating and all sorts of fun stuff with my dear pals as part of my favorite dance band, Scarlet Annie & The Individuals
Come out and dance to Annie & The Individuals!! 7-piece band with all sorts of bells and whistles...not to be missed!
It started as a way to fill a bad booking weekend in 1998, but now after more than 20 years, the campfire. festival has become the single-biggest way that Passim develops new talent and celebrates the Boston area’s amazing music scene. Originally called, “On the Cutting Edge of the Campfire,” the festival combined the idea of artists sitting around the campfire playing music with our commitment to bringing new talent to discerning listeners.
Today, the campfire. festival is as much about the community as it is about the music. “In the round” performances with songwriters swapping tunes are as common as solo and band sets throughout the course of each day of the festival. Memorial Day weekend will be a return to a fully in-person festival, with live sets being enjoyed in the club and the entire show also available through the live stream.
WHAT: Campfire, live music, and a beautiful sunset – these are the ingredients for a magical evening with friends and family.
Join MALT at Otter Creek Gorge for a gorgeous evening (fingers crossed!), featuring musician Nate Gusakov. Nate started picking clawhammer-style banjo when he was 20 years old, and he still does so with glee whenever the right porch or campfire presents itself. Bring a picnic blanket and snacks to enjoy in the field. We’ll supply the campfire, music, and a selection of some of MALT’s finest outdoor games for kids and families to enjoy. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be postponed until May 26. Please note, there are no bathroom facilities on site. Plan accordingly.
Wheelz of Steel is an interactive musical game show. Ten musicians collaborate and compete and in the process create a hilarious mash-up of well known songs in a wild variety of genres. The audience chooses the genres and the famous rock bands they want to hear. The Wheelz of Steel choose which combinations come up, and the musicians choose which song. They have ten minutes to plan and play a mashed up masterwork. The audience scores the effort, and the Wheelz are spun again. Points are tallied and the playaz are shuffled into new band configurations. Only one can win. Who will it be?
Join us for a night of live music as we raise funds for our fellow humans. Donations past the $10 admission ticket will be graciously accepted. Proceeds will also be raised through raffle and silent auction. All proceeds will be donated to Razom for Ukraine and World Central Kitchen.

"A grand tradition here at WRUV, where we bring local bands into the studio and let them play a live set, chat about upcoming shows, and whatever else we feel like."
